Worked on the buildkite/agent-stack-k8s repository, delivering a feature that enabled customizable Kubernetes resource naming within the Helm chart. This allowed users to override default names for agent, secrets, and controller service accounts, improving deployment portability and consistency across environments while maintaining backward compatibility. The technical approach focused on clear commit traceability and preserving existing workflows. In addition to feature development, addressed code maintainability by standardizing indentation in template files and synchronizing schema definitions to reduce configuration drift. The work primarily utilized Go and Helm, demonstrating attention to both user-facing flexibility and internal code quality over a focused two-month period.
