Alexandros updated the Elastic-Agent installation documentation in the elastic/ingest-docs repository, focusing on clarifying and expanding the resource requirements section. Drawing on lab-derived resource metrics, Alexandros replaced the previous minimum requirements with detailed guidance, including explicit CPU, memory, and network throughput data for multiple performance presets. Using asciidoc for documentation, Alexandros ensured that users could accurately size deployments and avoid misconfigurations by referencing real-world consumption data. This work improved usability and supported capacity planning, aligning with product goals to reduce support overhead. The update demonstrated depth by translating technical findings into actionable documentation that directly addressed user and operational needs.
