Developed a new AWS Organizations accounts data source for the opentofu/terraform-provider-aws repository, enabling users to programmatically retrieve organization-wide account information through Terraform. This feature streamlines governance automation by reducing manual data collection and supports improved infrastructure management. The work involved backend development using Go and leveraged AWS APIs, with a focus on integrating seamlessly into existing Terraform workflows. Additionally, test readability and code linting were enhanced to improve maintainability and clarity for future contributors. No major bug fixes were addressed during this period, with efforts concentrated on feature delivery and code quality improvements within the Go and Terraform ecosystem.
