Alex Wilcox developed a new AWS Organizations accounts data source for the opentofu/terraform-provider-aws repository, enabling users to programmatically retrieve organization-wide account information through Terraform. Working primarily in Go, Alex focused on backend development and infrastructure as code, leveraging AWS APIs and Terraform provider patterns to automate governance and reduce manual data collection. Alongside the feature, Alex improved test readability and applied linting to enhance code maintainability. While no major bugs were addressed during this period, the work demonstrated a methodical approach to feature delivery and code quality, reflecting a solid understanding of AWS, Go programming, and testing practices.
