Worked on the osbuild/osbuild-composer repository to enhance CI/CD reliability and streamline configuration management processes. Addressed two critical bugs by first removing a temporary workaround in cloud-image validation tests, ensuring these tests run unconditionally for osbuild-composer versions 83 and above, which improved test consistency and release confidence. Later, updated the Packit workflow configuration validation to use the correct command syntax, reducing validation errors and aligning with Packit CLI standards. Leveraged Shell scripting, YAML, and testing expertise to implement these changes, focusing on robust automation and maintainability. The work contributed to more stable CI pipelines and smoother onboarding for maintainers.
