In April 2025, Alf improved the documentation for the plotly/plotly.py repository by clarifying the differences between Plotly Express and Graph Objects, focusing on data input handling and expected figure composition. Using Markdown and version control, Alf rewrote key sections to provide explicit guidance on when to use each API, aligning the documentation with common user workflows. This work aimed to reduce onboarding time for new users and minimize support requests by making API usage patterns clearer. Alf’s efforts demonstrated strong documentation skills and API knowledge, resulting in more accessible resources for both new and experienced users of the library.
