Worked on improving data ingestion reliability for the Clarifai/examples repository by addressing a critical bug that caused upload failures. Focused on backend development and data processing using Python, the developer enforced a 16-character limit on input IDs to comply with Clarifai’s 48-character restriction, preventing INPUT_INVALID_REQUEST errors during uploads. The solution involved truncating input IDs and ensuring the SDK correctly handled dataset_id prefixes, which resolved issues related to long MD5 filenames. The work was delivered through a targeted code change with a clear, collaborative commit process, resulting in reduced upload failures and enhanced stability for data ingestion workflows.
