Worked on the moltbot/moltbot repository to deliver two backend features focused on reliability and resource management. Developed lifecycle management for Codex app-server clients, ensuring proper teardown of one-shot clients and retirement of shared clients after execution to prevent memory leaks. Enhanced ACP task cancellation by introducing additional checks and robust error handling, with comprehensive tests covering various gateway states. Employed TypeScript for backend development, emphasizing error handling and targeted testing to reduce runtime risks. These improvements led to more stable deployments, increased developer confidence, and more predictable production performance, with all changes validated through continuous integration and green builds.
