Worked on the VirtoCommerce/vc-module-profile-experience-api repository, focusing on backend development with C#. Addressed a critical reliability issue by implementing a defensive null-check in the ContactAggregate class to prevent NullReference exceptions when constructing a Contact’s FullName. This targeted bug fix reduced the risk of runtime errors in production and improved the maintainability of the API, ensuring smoother integration for downstream services and API consumers. No new features were introduced during this period, with efforts concentrated on enhancing code stability and auditability. The work demonstrated careful attention to error handling and clear commit practices within a C# backend context.
