Worked on the zephyrproject-rtos/trusted-firmware-m repository to implement platform-specific firmware update bootloader support, focusing on embedded systems and firmware development. Updated the build system using cmake to introduce a selectable TFM_FWU_BOOTLOADER_LIB, allowing platforms with custom bootloaders to enable the firmware update partition. This approach addressed integration gaps for non-MCUBoot bootloaders and broadened deployment scenarios by reducing friction in supporting diverse hardware. The work enhanced the flexibility of the firmware update mechanism, ensuring that platforms with unique bootloader requirements could be accommodated efficiently. No bugs were fixed during this period, with efforts concentrated on delivering this targeted feature enhancement.
