During a one-month engagement, Alliswell Jiang expanded the blockscout/chainscout repository by adding support for the PlatON mainnet and testnet, enabling the platform to recognize and interact with new blockchain environments. This work involved designing and implementing new network configurations in Go, focusing on seamless integration with existing monitoring and transaction tracking features. By extending Chainscout’s compatibility to include PlatON, Alliswell addressed the need for broader network coverage, allowing users to monitor PlatON activity within the platform. The project demonstrated skills in blockchain development and network configuration, delivering a focused feature update without introducing or resolving any major bugs.
