Worked on enhancing deployment and frontend integration for the ozontech/seq-db repository by implementing a new Seq UI frontend service using Docker Compose. The approach involved configuring a dedicated Docker Compose service, seq-ui-fe, to pull the latest Seq UI image and map container port 80 to host port 5173, ensuring seamless UI access. Permissive CORS settings were established to facilitate unrestricted frontend-backend communication, reducing cross-origin issues and improving user experience. The work focused on streamlining the deployment pipeline and optimizing frontend accessibility, utilizing skills in CI/CD, Docker, Docker Compose, and yaml to deliver a robust and maintainable solution.
