Worked on stabilizing the module installation flow for the zephyrproject-rtos/poky repository, focusing on kernel development and build systems using Shell scripting. Addressed a critical reliability issue by integrating KBUILD_EXTRA_SYMBOLS into the installation process, ensuring that kernel module symbols are consistently installed and recognized on target systems. This targeted fix reduced the risk of runtime module load failures and minimized post-install troubleshooting, resulting in a more robust deployment process for Zephyr-based projects. The solution was delivered as a clean patch to the build and class workflow, maintaining compatibility with existing processes while improving overall system stability and deployment reliability.
