Using Go and Kubernetes, he implemented a cleanup policy within the DestinationSpec and introduced a deletion finalizer to coordinate safe removal of associated WorkPlacements and state store contents. His work included refactoring the cleanup flow, removing deprecated code, and enhancing test coverage to ensure predictable and reliable deletions. By addressing orphaned resources and accelerating safe teardowns, Alparslan’s contributions deepened the project’s resource management capabilities and improved data integrity for business-critical integration workflows within the kratix platform.
