JJ implemented a cleaner default commit message template in Markdown, removing extraneous diff statistics to reduce noise and improve clarity for contributors. Additionally, JJ updated the documentation to provide accurate guidance for configuring Vim and Neovim as diff tools, ensuring users could follow correct setup procedures. The work centered on documentation skills and Markdown, with an emphasis on improving onboarding and review efficiency. Over the month, JJ delivered two targeted features, demonstrating depth in documentation-driven engineering improvements.
