Alsameema focused on enhancing the rdkcentral/meta-rdk-video repository by delivering new dependency integrations for the AAMP middleware and player interface. Using CMake and leveraging expertise in dependency management and embedded systems, Alsameema added subtec_cc and subttxrend-app dependencies to streamline AAMP integration and expand player interface capabilities. The work addressed integration friction for downstream components, laying the foundation for future feature development. Although no bugs were fixed during this period, Alsameema co-authored a BBAppend analysis for AAMP, contributing to the repository’s maintainability. The engineering effort demonstrated depth in managing complex dependencies and preparing the codebase for ongoing enhancements.
