Worked on the ROCm/llvm-project repository to enhance observability within the Comgr cache subsystem by improving its logging capabilities. Focused on C++ development, the work introduced a new log entry that records when cache results are stored, in addition to existing cache hit logs. This change made cache misses and subsequent storage events clearly visible at the start of log messages, streamlining debugging and supporting more informed decision-making around cache operations. Leveraging skills in build systems, caching, and logging, the update increased transparency in cache behavior, allowing developers to better trace and understand the flow of cache events during execution.
