Altamir delivered Brazilian Portuguese translation support for the AFFiNE repository, updating both backend and frontend systems to enable user selection of BR Portuguese in translation actions and AI translation prompts. Using TypeScript and full stack development skills, Altamir integrated internationalization features that broadened the app’s accessibility and established a foundation for future localization efforts. The work involved modifying language selection workflows and ensuring seamless support for BR Portuguese throughout the application. Although the project scope was focused on a single feature over one month, the implementation addressed product strategy goals to expand into Portuguese-speaking markets and improve global user reach.
