Developed a configuration management feature for the is-a-dev/register repository, focusing on the Gallium Discord bot. Delivered a structured gallium.json file to centralize owner details, bot descriptions, and DNS records, replacing ad-hoc configuration with a single, version-controlled source of truth. This approach streamlined onboarding and deployment processes, reducing manual setup and improving operational reliability. Leveraged JSON for configuration, applied backend development practices, and emphasized documentation to enhance maintainability and traceability. The work established a foundation for future environment-specific configurations and automated deployment workflows, supporting more scalable bot management and facilitating easier audits and enhancements in subsequent development cycles.
