During June 2025, Alyaeanyx updated maintainer attribution throughout the Shopify/nixpkgs repository, ensuring all package definitions and service configurations reflected the new maintainer name and GitHub handle, pentane. This work involved systematically editing Nix configuration files and package management metadata to align with current maintainership, supporting accurate governance and simplifying future contact for maintainers. The update required a detailed understanding of Nix language conventions and the structure of large-scale package repositories.
