Worked on the aws/amazon-ecs-agent repository to enhance platform stability and connectivity, focusing on backend development using Golang. Upgraded the Go runtime to a more current version, which improved both performance and security for the agent. Addressed reliability issues by refining FSx volume mounting logic, reducing mount failures and ensuring more consistent container workload startups. Improved SSM Dualstack endpoint resolution to provide more reliable regional routing and minimize connectivity issues across environments. Delivered these changes as part of release 1.103.0, which included targeted bug fixes and performance improvements, contributing to more robust and dependable agent operations in production environments.
