Addressed a recurring issue where long-running queries would time out by extending the query timeout threshold from 120 to 150 seconds, directly improving reliability for metadata-heavy operations. The solution involved targeted backend development in Java, with careful validation through performance checks and code review to ensure minimal risk and maximum impact. This focused bug fix reduced user-visible failures and contributed to overall platform stability, supporting more consistent access to metadata and dashboards.
