During February 2025, András Brits implemented Hungarian localization updates for the works scanning UI in the LMS-Community/slimserver repository. Focusing on internationalization, he expanded the platform’s accessibility by translating key interface strings related to works scanning, such as options for scanning the library and genre selection. Working primarily with text-based language files, András ensured that Hungarian-speaking users could navigate and understand the scanning workflow more intuitively. The changes were committed with traceability in mind, allowing for easy rollback if needed. This work addressed a specific usability gap, providing targeted improvements without introducing new features or addressing existing bugs.
