During December 2024, Kaif enhanced the tooltip component in the layer5io/sistent repository, focusing on UI polish and design consistency. He implemented a visual update that introduced a darker background and refined box-shadow, improving tooltip readability and seamless integration with the existing UI. Working primarily with React, CSS, and TypeScript, Kaif ensured the changes aligned with the design system while maintaining a low-risk, maintainable codebase. The work was delivered as a single, well-scoped commit, emphasizing clarity and ease of review. This contribution established a baseline for consistent tooltip appearance and improved the overall user experience without introducing new bugs.
