December 2024 monthly summary for awslabs/fmbench-orchestrator: Delivered a key feature enabling AWS Pricing Information Access for a new integration by provisioning the required IAM policy and updating related documentation. This work enables pricing-data access for the integration and positions the platform for cost-aware decision making and faster onboarding. The change is tracked in commit 105197ed4f5ce8bfd0ad44d780da4eeb9a62bd3a (Update iam.md). No major bugs were reported or fixed this month for this repository.

In November 2024, delivered selective deployment control for Llama3.2 models on the m7i.12xlarge within awslabs/fmbench-orchestrator, enabling deploy: no for this instance type and paving the way for selective deployment across hardware. Updated the Llama3.2 configuration (llama3.2-1b-cpu-intel-amd.yml) to enforce the new policy, with commit 553ac17fd45ede3a972175667d4cc26bca38cd2a, ensuring traceability. This work reduces deployment risk on specific hardware, supports cost-aware experimentation, and provides a foundation for safer, multi-instance-type rollouts.
