Worked on the PADAS/das-web-react repository to enhance analytics capabilities with a focus on privacy and data governance. Developed structured analytics data collection by introducing a user_properties object and implemented environment-based gating for GA4, ensuring production data remained protected. Standardized event tracking across key UI components such as AddItemButton, Patrols, and Reports, aligning event names and context for improved data quality and privacy compliance. Leveraged JavaScript and React to deliver maintainable, clean instrumentation changes, supporting safer experimentation and better observability. The work emphasized scalable analytics infrastructure and consistent privacy-conscious practices across the frontend, without introducing new bugs during the period.
