Developed and delivered the CouchDB Open Files Visualization feature for the Accedian/grafana-docker repository, introducing a new Grafana monitoring graph that tracks CouchDB open file metrics. This enhancement improves observability of resource usage, supporting proactive capacity planning and faster incident response for Grafana-docker deployments. The work involved integrating CouchDB metrics into Grafana dashboards, updating project documentation in Markdown, and managing release notes to ensure clear communication of new capabilities. Monitoring improvements were aligned with guidance from an Asana task, demonstrating effective cross-team collaboration. The focus on documentation and release management contributed to more reliable and maintainable monitoring infrastructure.
