Developed a Jupyter notebook for the wherobots-examples repository to analyze California coastal flood risk using FEMA flood zone data. The project leveraged Python, Pandas, and SQL to process and visualize property exposure, providing summaries of high-risk parcels and their assessed values. The notebook was carefully aligned with existing documentation and standards to ensure consistency and usability. In addition to the core analysis, repository hygiene was improved by removing obsolete files and tightening pre-commit checks, supporting code quality and maintainability. This work enabled proactive risk assessment and facilitated data-driven decision-making for stakeholders concerned with coastal property vulnerability.
