Worked on the holzschu/texlive-source repository to enhance reliability and scalability across TeX engines by addressing two core bugs. Focused on normalizing error reporting for ignored primitives, the developer updated C and TeX code to ensure consistent formatting and behavior between euptexdir, pdfTeX, and XeTeX, also maintaining related documentation. Additionally, expanded the eqtb table size in ptex and uptex from 256 to 1024 entries, preventing overflow and supporting larger KINSOKU/INHIBIT configurations. The work demonstrated strong skills in C programming, build systems, and documentation, with careful attention to cross-engine compatibility and maintainability of TeX core internals.
