Worked on enhancing the download permissions flow in the getdokan/dokan repository by developing a flexible template system for managing permissions. The approach replaced direct template includes with the dokan_get_template_part function, allowing for theme overrides and deeper integration with WordPress hooks. This enabled site owners to customize and brand their download permissions experience more effectively. The work involved PHP development and theme development, with a focus on maintainability and extensibility through the addition of the dokan_order_download_permission_args filter. Refactoring efforts streamlined template argument handling and improved code consistency, reducing future technical debt and supporting better collaboration within the Dokan ecosystem.
