December 2025 monthly summary for edx/configuration: Delivered a feature to increase profile image upload size from 1MB to 2MB across general user profiles and LMS profiles, enabling higher-resolution avatars and reducing upload-related support tickets. Implemented fixes to ensure the 2MB limit is consistently enforced in LMS configuration and Dockerfile arguments, improving deployment consistency across environments. Key outcomes: higher-quality user avatars, fewer image-upload errors, and more predictable configurations. Technologies demonstrated: Dockerfile configuration, deployment pipelines, and configuration management with traceable commits. This work is backed by two commits documenting the change.
