Worked on enhancing the TanStack Router repository by improving the generated sitemap’s compliance with XHTML standards to address SEO and crawler compatibility issues. Delivered a targeted feature that added the xmlns:xhtml attribute to the sitemap, reducing indexing problems across various web crawlers. The solution was implemented in TypeScript as part of a full stack development workflow, following a code review–driven process with a dedicated changeset to ensure robust integration and maintainability. Maintained clear commit attribution to support future collaboration and traceability. The work resulted in a low-risk, high-value improvement that directly addressed a specific technical requirement for web standards.
