Worked on the carbon-design-system/ibm-products repository, focusing on front end development with React, JavaScript, and TypeScript. Delivered a refactor of the DataSpreadsheet component, replacing document-based selectors with reference-based ones to improve encapsulation, reliability, and performance while reducing cross-component context exposure. Incorporated review-driven code cleanup to enhance maintainability and readability. Later, introduced an API enhancement for the Datagrid component by adding a clearFiltersText prop, enabling customizable filter-clearing text to support better user experience and localization. Throughout the two-month period, prioritized delivery and code quality, aligning new features with IBM Design System standards and maintaining API stability without reported bugs.
