Amy contributed to the DataDog/terraform-provider-datadog repository by developing a feature that made the enable_samples field optional on the datadog_monitor resource. Using Go and leveraging her skills in API integration and Terraform provider development, she enabled users to explicitly opt in to sample collection for CI Test and Pipeline monitors. This change reduced alert noise and improved the configurability of monitoring behavior to better match user preferences. Amy also updated the documentation to reflect the new usage, ensuring clarity for future users. While no major bugs were addressed during this period, her work demonstrated depth in infrastructure-as-code engineering.
