Anagha Avi developed a DCO-Compliant Cherry-Pick Workflow for the argoproj/argo-cd repository, focusing on improving contribution governance and CI reliability. Using YAML to define the workflow and leveraging skills in CI/CD, Git, and workflow automation, Anagha ensured that all cherry-picked commits now require a DCO sign-off. This approach addressed gaps in ci-signoff compliance, enhancing auditability and aligning the repository with contributor policy. The solution integrates seamlessly into existing processes, enforcing policy without disrupting developer productivity. While the work was scoped to a single feature over one month, it demonstrated a targeted and effective application of workflow automation principles.
