Worked on enhancing power management capabilities in the rdkcentral/meta-rdk-video repository by delivering a PowerMode enhancement for the NetworkManager plugin. Focused on improving PowerMode handling, the work involved updating version control references and refining the plugin’s integration with energy-aware configurations for user laptops. Leveraged Python along with skills in Continuous Integration and DevOps to ensure the release process was streamlined and maintainable. The changes addressed the need for more efficient power management within the NetworkManager component, supporting better energy usage and system responsiveness. No bug fixes were recorded during this period, with efforts concentrated on feature development and release updates.
