Anchi Liu focused on enhancing the developer experience for the janhq/cortex.cpp repository by refining its build process and onboarding documentation. Over the course of a month, Anchi updated the README to provide explicit, step-by-step instructions for building from source, including detailed commands for cloning the repository, initializing submodules, configuring vpkg, and verifying execution using relative paths. This work, primarily using Bash and Markdown, aimed to reduce setup ambiguities and streamline the first-build process for both new contributors and CI environments. While no bugs were fixed, the improvements demonstrated technical writing, build systems expertise, and attention to developer workflow clarity.
