Worked on enhancing the open-feature/js-sdk repository by addressing a TypeScript compilation issue to ensure compatibility with React 19 and above. Focused on the OpenFeatureProvider component, the developer removed the explicit JSX.Element return type to align with updated React type definitions, thereby resolving build and compile errors. This adjustment maintained existing runtime behavior while updating type signatures, which helped reduce friction for downstream users upgrading their applications. The work was carried out using JavaScript, TypeScript, and React, with an emphasis on minimizing potential breakages and supporting a smoother upgrade path for consumer applications relying on the OpenFeature JS SDK.
