Andreas developed new Heat Pump Pilot UI iconography for the home-assistant/brands repository, focusing on enhancing the visual clarity and usability of the Heat Pump Pilot feature. Using SVG and applying skills in UI and graphic design, Andreas created icons that align with the existing design system and facilitate faster user recognition during configuration. The work included updating the asset pipeline and preparing documentation to support deployment and quality assurance. Andreas collaborated with design, frontend, and QA teams to validate the iconography. The contribution addressed a specific UI need, delivering a single, well-integrated feature within a short, one-month development period.
