In October 2025, Andre contributed governance improvements to the kinde-auth-nextjs repository by realigning code ownership and review processes. He updated the CODEOWNERS file to assign ownership to the @kinde-oss/giants-kinde team, leveraging GitHub’s wildcard routing to ensure all code changes receive consistent review coverage. This work involved two targeted commits and required a solid understanding of GitHub workflows, repository management, and collaborative development practices. While the scope was focused on a single feature and did not involve direct bug fixes or application code, Andre’s changes improved maintainability and accountability within the team’s development process for the repository.
