Worked on internal improvements to the spotify/confidence-sdk-java repository, focusing on codebase hygiene and dependency stabilization. The work involved refactoring Java package names for shaded types to improve clarity and prevent conflicts, as well as removing generated Google types from the confidence-proto module to simplify dependencies. Adjustments to the .gitignore file were made to exclude generated files, reducing noise in version control and build processes. Duplicate exception classes were consolidated to enhance maintainability and reduce code duplication. Leveraged skills in Java development, code refactoring, and Protocol Buffers to establish a cleaner foundation for future feature development and easier onboarding.
