Developed an automation feature for the gardener-extension-provider-azure repository that streamlines pull request management by introducing automatic labeling for Dependabot-generated PRs. Leveraging Git, YAML, and GitHub PR workflows, the solution reduces manual intervention by programmatically assigning metadata, which accelerates triage and review cycles for dependency updates. The approach focused on scripting and labeling strategies to enhance organization and governance of incoming changes, minimizing context switching for maintainers. This work improved the clarity and efficiency of PR handling, supporting faster and more reliable integration of updates. No major bugs were reported during this period, reflecting a focused and stable delivery.
