Worked on enhancing user-facing error reporting and messaging consistency across the percona/pg_tde and percona/postgres repositories. Focused on improving the guidance provided to users during WAL key creation by correcting typographical errors in error messages, specifically addressing a misspelling that previously caused confusion. Utilized C for PostgreSQL extension development, emphasizing robust error handling and clear communication in database workflows. The updates aligned error messages between the extension and core repository, reducing ambiguity and support requests. This work did not introduce new features but contributed to a smoother user experience and more maintainable codebase through targeted bug fixes and typo correction.
