Andrei Schopf

Contributed to LerianStudio/midaz by delivering end-to-end ledger features, including block and unblock transaction operations with full lifecycle support, robust validation, and comprehensive API documentation. Leveraged Go, Fiber, and PostgreSQL to implement service discovery-driven bootstrapping for both ledger and CRM modules, enabling dynamic service registration and plugin authentication resolution. Enhanced system observability by integrating metrics recording and explicit timing buckets, while improving reliability through bounded boot-time resolutions. Expanded support for external accounts with alias enforcement and cascade deletion, and maintained high software quality through extensive unit and integration testing, rigorous documentation, and continuous refactoring to streamline backend infrastructure and workflows.

July 2026 performance highlights for LerianStudio/midaz: Established service-discovery driven bootstrapping for Ledger and CRM, wiring lib-service-discovery managers into each bootstrap, enabling dynamic descriptor registration, startup-time resolution of plugin-auth, and graceful deregistration. Introduced a shared servicediscovery package to deduplicate bootstrap logic and added symmetry in wiring for Ledger and CRM. Strengthened reliability with a 5-second boot resolution deadline for plugin-auth and preserved auth host scheme on discovery resolution. Built observability into the SD layer with a MetricsRecorder seam and a MetricsFactory-backed recorder, and wired metrics through both ledger and crm bootstraps, including register/deregister and resolve metrics and explicit timing buckets. Expanded external accounts: support external account type, enforce alias, derive default balance direction, and cascade-delete external accounts when an asset is deleted. Documented SD_* environment surface for ledger and crm, and improved test coverage (goleak) and CI hygiene (go mod tidy).

June 2026 monthly summary for LerianStudio/midaz: Delivered end-to-end Block and Unblock ledger operations with full lifecycle support, including constants, operation type overrides, routing to dedicated rubrics, HTTP endpoints to create block/unblock transactions, validation, docs, and comprehensive test coverage. Implemented in close alignment with the Epic 3.1+ task suite, across transaction and ledger layers, and integrated with ledger accounting entries. Fixed key validation gaps and expanded rubric routing to ensure block/unblock entries are validated and recorded correctly. Improved API docs and read-path exposure to support auditing and operational transparency.
