By integrating a common plugin from @lokalise/fastify-extras and removing the previous fastify-custom-healthcheck dependency, Andrew reduced architectural coupling and improved maintainability. His work consolidated health-check logic, making onboarding easier and ensuring consistent health signals throughout the service. The project was developed using Node.js and Fastify, with code written in both JavaScript and TypeScript.
