Worked on the nrfconnect/sdk-zephyr repository to address a Bluetooth Mesh advertising issue affecting randomness handling across different advertising sets. Delivered a targeted bug fix in C that preserved correct randomness behavior, specifically ensuring that non-FRIEND_ADV tag types maintained proper advertising randomness. The solution involved cherry-picking a previous commit, aligning with Zephyr project practices, and collaborating with other contributors for review and sign-off. This change improved the reliability and connectivity of Bluetooth Mesh devices in production environments by reducing edge-case failures. Demonstrated expertise in Bluetooth development, embedded systems, and C programming while maintaining high standards for code quality and project compliance.
