Andriyano-31 implemented Russian pluralization support in the i18n TP function for the go-vikunja/vikunja repository, addressing the need for accurate handling of up to four plural forms in Russian translations. Using Go, they integrated Russian pluralization rules directly into the translation pipeline, ensuring that the user interface correctly adapts to different counts and translation choices. This work improved localization accuracy for Russian-speaking users and streamlined future maintenance by reducing manual intervention in translation updates. Andriyano-31’s contribution demonstrated a solid understanding of internationalization and localization challenges, delivering a targeted feature that enhanced the overall quality of the project’s multilingual support.
