Jie Liu developed and integrated audio and DMA drivers for the TL721X platform within the telink-semi/hal_telink repository, enabling end-to-end audio processing for TensorFlow Lite Micro Speech. Working primarily in C, Jie updated the build system to incorporate these new drivers, laying the foundation for real-time audio data handling on embedded systems. The work leveraged expertise in audio processing, DMA controller configuration, and driver development, addressing the need for efficient audio input and output on TL721X hardware. Over the course of the month, Jie’s contributions provided essential groundwork for future speech recognition features on resource-constrained, real-time operating system environments.
February 2025: Telink HAL TL721X work focused on enabling audio processing capabilities by integrating the TL721X audio and DMA drivers for TensorFlow Lite Micro Speech (TFLM). The work includes build system updates to include the new drivers and groundwork for end-to-end audio processing on TL721X.
