Andy developed multi-completion support for VLLM and TogetherAI integrations in the safety-research/safety-tooling repository, focusing on backend development and API integration using Python. He introduced an 'n' parameter to VLLM requests, enabling users to request multiple completions per call, and enhanced validation logic to ensure the correct number of valid choices are returned for each response. This work improved the reliability and flexibility of multi-response workflows, allowing richer user experiences. Although the project scope was limited to a single feature over one month, Andy’s contribution addressed a clear product need and demonstrated solid technical depth in backend systems.
