During March 2025, Alex Neff developed foundational CO2 spectroscopic data assets for the FoleyLab/data_repository, focusing on enabling robust analysis workflows. Alex established a structured data scaffolding by organizing and integrating two CSV files and one Excel file, ensuring immediate usability for spectral data analysis and downstream modeling. Leveraging skills in data management and repository organization, Alex utilized CSV and Excel formats alongside Git-based version control to maintain traceability and reproducibility. The work addressed the need for accessible, well-organized spectroscopic datasets, laying groundwork for future analytics. No bugs were reported, reflecting careful implementation and a focus on ongoing data governance improvements.
