Worked on the PROCEED-Labs/proceed repository to enhance CI/CD reliability and database deployment hygiene, focusing on safer and faster release processes. Developed features that introduced branch-aware database migration checks, ensuring migrations are compared against the main branch only for non-main branches, and standardized main-branch database naming through default outputs. Improved deployment workflow by removing redundant steps, disabling execution in deployment environments, and ensuring accurate propagation of the database URL between pipeline steps. Utilized YAML and GitHub Actions to implement these changes, demonstrating a methodical approach to DevOps, environment variable management, and pipeline safety, resulting in lower-risk, more predictable deployments.
